2. CV Writing Specific Terms and Conditions
2.1 Turnaround Time:
Upon receipt of your payment, we commit to delivering a high-quality service that meets your requirements. The standard turnaround time for CV writing is 3 to 5 working days from the date of payment. This applies to business days only (Monday through Friday) and excludes weekends, bank holidays, and formal holiday periods.
Once we have received the necessary information and payment, we will prepare and send your professionally written CV and cover letter via email. You may request revisions within 10 days of receiving the initial document, and we will make adjustments until you are fully satisfied. If we do not receive further communication within 28 days, the order will be marked as complete.
Minor updates (such as changes to personal details or additional qualifications) can be made at no charge for one month after the order is completed. Changes to work history may incur an additional fee, which will be quoted based on the specific requirements.
2.2 Cancellations & Refunds:
As our services involve the preparation of personalized goods, they fall under the Distance Selling Regulations. According to regulation 13 of these regulations, consumers do not have the right to cancel a contract once the service has commenced with their consent.
Therefore, once CV writing has begun, refunds are not available. However, we offer a satisfaction guarantee, meaning we will work with you until you are completely satisfied with the result.
2.3 Delivery Format:
Your completed documents will be provided in Microsoft Word format. A PDF version can be provided upon request. While we strive to assist with any compatibility issues, we cannot be held responsible for incompatibility with individual computer setups, and alternative formats may be offered if feasible. However, IT support is beyond our expertise, and clients may need to seek professional support at their own expense. Please note that we do not create editable documents in Apple Pages, Google Docs, or any format other than Microsoft Word.
Additionally, non-text elements (e.g., logos, photographs) are not typically included in CVs, except for simple lines and boxes.
2.4 Limitation of Liability for CV Writing:
UK CV Writing Services (Company No. 16078133) accepts no liability for any misuse of CV products, including misrepresentation of employment history or achievements, or loss incurred after delivery. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the information provided. We prepare CVs based on the client’s details, but we do not guarantee job acquisition.
3. Service-Specific Terms and Conditions
3.1 LinkedIn Profile Writing:
For our LinkedIn Profile Optimisation service, we provide a Word document containing a complete write-up of the profile sections, which you can copy and paste into your LinkedIn account. We do not log in on behalf of clients or create profiles, to protect your personal information and ensure your login credentials remain secure. We aim to complete LinkedIn profile optimization within 5 business days after your CV is finalised.
4. Interview Coaching
4.1 Limitation of Liability for Interview Coaching:
UK CV Writing Services (Company No. 16078133) does not guarantee any specific outcome from interview coaching. We are not responsible for any costs, loss of revenue, or indirect losses resulting from using our coaching services or following the advice provided on our website or by our coaches.
4.2 Interview Coaching Cancellations and Refunds:
Coaching sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the full session rate.
